Pick your section first
Most riders tackle a chunk rather than the whole trail. The most popular multi-day loops start at Dwellingup, Collie, Nannup or Manjimup and take four to ten days. Tell us how many days you have and we'll help you match the section to your fitness and appetite for hills.
For a first taste, the Nannup to Donnelly River leg is hard to beat — quiet forest tracks, one tough climb, and a village pub at the end.
Getting the bike there safely
We transport bikes upright in padded racks — no dismantling, no boxing, no scratched paintwork. Full-suspension, gravel, e-bikes, tandems and cargo bikes are all fine.
If you're flying in with a boxed bike, we can meet you at the airport, help load, and rebuild support is available at the other end.
Resupplies and food drops
The trail has some long, remote stretches with limited services. We arrange resupply drops at road-accessible huts so you can ride lighter and eat better.
Standard drops include your labelled tub of food, a topped-up water carrier and a spare tube or two if you'd like insurance.
One-way, out-and-back, or supported?
One-way rides with a shuttle at either end are the most popular. If you'd rather ride each day light and sleep in a real bed, supported day-tripping from a local base works beautifully — we shuttle you and your bike to a fresh start each morning.
Our recommendations
A few favourites, from us to you
Dwellingup to Collie (3 days)
Rolling jarrah forest, easy grades and two of the best trail huts on the whole route.
Nannup to Manjimup (4 days)
Karri giants, the Donnelly River crossing and a warm welcome at the village along the way.
Manjimup to Northcliffe (4–5 days)
Deep forest and quiet timber towns. Our favourite for photographers and slow riders.
Local tips
Little things that make a big difference
- Tell us your bike weight and tyre size when you book — it helps us pack the rack safely.
- Carry a spare rear derailleur hanger; they're the hardest part to replace on the trail.
- Water is heavier than food — plan around the reliable tanks, not the seasonal ones.
- Rain days happen. Build in one buffer day per week and you'll never feel rushed.
Send us a rough itinerary and we'll come back with practical suggestions, honest timing and a quote. The trail is waiting.
